Schnauzerfest was a success!

In late September 2008, Riesenschnauzers from across the United States assembled with their handlers and owners to participate in the only event of its kind held specifically for this breed. We saw these teams display their ability to compete in a sport that requires intelligence, intensive training, endurance and courage. Paricipants ranged from veteran dogs and handlers to first time participants who were new to the breed and the sport.

This event gave everyone in attendance an opportunity to see the performance of each dog and hear unbiased and accurate evaluations of the dogs (and in some cases their handlers) from judges who have years of experience training, handling and evaluating the breed.
